Privacy Notice — Conscious Bond

1. Scope
This notice explains how the operator of Conscious Bond processes personal information when you use the service.

2. Information collected
Account and profile: your email address, chosen display name, and preferred language.
Journey membership: the fact that your account belongs to a specific journey and is linked to one other member.
Answers: what you save as a draft answer, the answer you submit, its importance and flexibility, and any explanation you write.
Joint outcomes: the outcome and shared note that partners record together for a card after both have submitted.
Checklist: items you add to your personal checklist, including category and completion state.
Security and technical events: sign-in events, IP address associated with authentication, browser and device metadata, and diagnostic logs required to operate and secure the service.

3. Why each category is processed
Account and profile: to authenticate you and personalize the interface.
Journey membership: to pair you with your intended partner and enforce that only members can access their journey.
Answers, joint outcomes, checklist: to deliver the core feature of the product to you and your partner.
Security events and logs: to protect the account, detect abuse, and maintain the service.

4. What your partner can see
Before you submit: nothing about your answer, only that you are or are not still working on it.
After both partners have submitted a card: your submitted answer, its importance and flexibility, your explanation, and any joint outcome you record together.
Your linked partner never sees your personal checklist.

5. What administrators can see
Application administrators of Conscious Bond do not have a product feature or a database row-level security policy that lets them read the private content of your submitted answers. Administrators can see account-level metadata and audit records needed to operate the service.

6. Infrastructure providers
The service runs on hosting and database infrastructure. Those providers necessarily process and store data to make the service work. They are bound by their own contractual and security obligations.

7. Retention
Your account and its data remain while your account is active. When account deletion is available in the product, we will describe here how long backups and audit records are kept after deletion.

8. Security limits
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. We do not claim end-to-end encryption. To minimize risk, avoid entering unnecessary third-party names, medical identifiers, or highly sensitive information you would not want to share with your linked partner.

9. Sharing outside the platform
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal answers with third parties outside the infrastructure providers described above.

10. Your choices
You can edit your display name and interface language in the Account page. Access, correction, and deletion requests will be handled through the support address once it is published.

11. Changes
When this notice changes materially, the version number is increased and users are asked to accept the new version before continuing.
